ANCIENT CORINTH (HALF DAY) (Every
Monday and Friday).
Drive to Corinth Canal which connects the Aegean Sea with the
Ionian Sea (short stop). Visit the Ancient Town of Corinth where
St. Paul lived and preached for two years. Agora (market place)
and Apollo's Temple (6th century B.C.) clearly show how rich and
important Corinth was in Ancient Times. A short stop at the Site
of the Ancient Port of Cehries, where St. Paul disembarked, will
conclude the visit. Return to Athens in time for lunch.
OLYMPIA (1 Day tour - upon request, 5 pers. minimum). Depart from Athens 06.30am and after a short stop at Corinth canal. arrive at ancient Olympia by 11.00am. Meet the tour guide and follow him to the ancient site and the archaeological museum of Olympia. Have lunch and relax in the peaceful atmosphere of the area until 05.00pm. Return to Athens.
DELPHI (1 Day - Daily Service)
Price: 70.00 without lunch, or 80.00 incl. lunch.
Daily Service Full day tour through the towns of Thebes, Levadia
and Arahova (birth place of Dr. Georgios Papanikolaou of the PAP
test) famous for its colourful rugs. Arrive at Delphi, the center
of the Ancient World. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the
Temple of Apollo and the Museum. Lunch in the village of Delphi.
Return to Athens early this evening.
CORINTH-MYCENAE-EPIDAURUS(1 Day -
Tue,Wed,Thu,Sat) Price:70.00 w/o lunch, or 80.00 incl. lunch.
Drive along the scenic coastal roads of the Saronic Gulf to
Corinth (stop). Proceed to Mycenae, visit the ruins, including
the Lion's Gate, the Tomb of Agamemnon and the Palace. Depart for
Nafplio through Argolis. After lunch, leave for Epidaurus where
you will visit the famous Theatre known for its superior
acoustics. Return to Athens in the evening.
OLYMPIA
(2 Days, upon request, 5 pers. minimum). A "unique" tour organised by astoria
travel. Leave from Athens at 08.00am. Short stop at
Corinth Canal. Before the city of Pyrgos we turn off the highway
and drive to the Deluxe ALDEMAR
OLYMPIAN Village Hotel. We
have made an arrangement with the hotel and you can use the hotel
premises for as long as you wish, swimming, having lunch at the
hotel's restaurants, and taking your drinks at anyone of the
bars. Leave from the ALDEMAR late afternoon to
arriva at Olympia. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast meet with the tour guide and visit the ancient
site and the archaeological museum during the next 3 hrs. You are
free to visit the other museums of Olympia on your own, have
lunch and enjoy a drink at the peacefull modern Olympia town.
About 5.00pm start the return trip to Athens.
DELPHI (2 Days, Daily Service)
Day 1: Motor coach through arriving to Delphi, the center of the
Ancient World. Visit the Museum and Thebes, Levadia, Arakhova
(short stop) the Sanctuary of Apollo. Lunch and overnight in
Delphi.
Day 2: You'll spend the morning relaxing in please. After lunch
return to Athens by the same route. Includes first class Delphi
to do as you hotel in Delphi.
METEORA

Day 1: Drive to Delphi. Two hours at leisure, to enjoy the
breathtaking scenery. Depart for Kalambaka, passing through

priceless historical and religious treasures. Return to Athens
via Thermopylae (visit the Leonidas Monument). (N.B. Visits to
the Archaeological site and the Museum in Delphi are not included
and the extra cost is 09.00 euro).
